The beating heart of the village
COVID-19 INFORMATION
After the last few months, we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the Kings Arms.
We are a 16th Century Inn, with nooks and crannies so we do have lovely areas in which we can seat people safely and within social distancing guidelines, we also have a small covered outside area with three benches (the covered area is non-smoking) as well as benches outside the front of the pub. We will also operate an entrance and exit system when we’re busy. Social distances between our staff and our customers will be ensured at all times.
Opening Times
Monday and Tuesday - 4pm – 10pm
Wednesday and Thursday - 4pm – 11pm
Friday and Saturday - 12pm – 11pm
Sunday - 12pm – 10pm
All service will be table service and it is advisable to book during busy times as once the tables are full, we cannot accommodate anyone else. Someone will greet you at the door and show you to your table, seat you and explain how it all works. Drinks and food are ordered and brought to the table… all quite continental!
We will practise regular and thorough handwashing and will disinfect all surfaces after use. Our toilets and high-contact points such as door handles will be sanitised regularly.
We will have hand sanitiser available for customers on the way into the pub and there will be signs reminding customers about social distancing and good hygiene.
We do ask you to bear with us, this is new for everyone and we are learning as we go.
