Our beautiful  village pub has been an integral part of Winkleigh life since the late 1700s. Due to its location close to the Exeter/Plymouth turnpike, The Kings Arms Inn, as it was known then, was a welcome resting stop frequented by weary travellers.   Read more about the pub’s fascinating history.

A little bit about

Faye & Rich

During Faye’s 24 Hour 3 Peaks Challenge training, Faye and Rich headed to Snowdon, Wales.  It was whilst staying with friends, who had recently renovated and reopened a B&B in Harlech, that the dream of owning a pub began.

On the long journey home, Faye and Rich talked at length and agreed to have a look around to see what was available in their price range... a map and pin decided that they’d start their search for their dream country pub in Devon.
